Our clinic was founded by Sr Yolanda who is a well-qualified nursing specialist (advance midwifery and neonatal ICU) who has the health of women and children at heart and, she also writes numerous magazine articles advising on women and children health issues. She is a well-motivated Midwife who has the ambition to build Birth units in marginalized communities of South Africa so as to provide affordable and quality maternity services to women and children living in rural areas of South Africa. She was then joined by her husband Dr Mpilo who is a general practitioner to further extend the clinic to offer primary and wellness health services.

Sr Yolanda the founder of Mother & Child Clinic is an Advanced Midwife and NICU nurse specialist, also a clinical manager in HIV/AIDS. She has worked in the public sector for many years and gained a lot of knowledge and experience. She has also worked in corporate and takes that knowledge in managing her own business. Sr Yolanda is an expert adviser on television and writes numerous articles for magazines, she also holds close to her heart an NGO that she is starting that concentrates on empowering teenagers who have babies and don’t have any ambition.
